Orthonyxia (nail bracing) is a non-surgical, painless podiatric treatment for ingrown or involuted (curved) toenails that uses small, tensioned wires or composite braces to lift nail edges, relieving pressure and pain. The nail is cleaned, and a wire or adhesive brace is attached across the surface, typically taking about 30 minutes.
